Downtowner Woodfire Grill

Guac appetizer excellent. Walleye sandwich outstanding. (Cooked over wood) Only issue: Stella from tap was not cold. Otherwise a great place to eat.

Excellent food and service. Stopped by the Downtowner before a Wild game and it was nice to see I wasn't the only fan who had that idea. If you are a fan of pizza, the pizza here is great. The wood fire style they make adds an extra level to the pizza. I had the chicken, mushroom and smoked mozzarella and it was one of the better pizzas I have had. I will definitely come back, especially if I am going to a Wild game and want to get something to eat before the game!

We went here for an early supper before the hockey game . The restaurant is eye catching as soon as you walk in . Looks really high end .We ordered the wood fired mushroom dip and the fried shrimp and calamari for appetizers. Not a heavy breading on the shrimp and calamari. Just enough to coat it and it was fantastic. Mushroom dip was ok . Nothing special. I ordered the swordfish kabob . Swordfish was good and cooked well . The plate come with a pile of white rice . Bland and no flavor to it .
